Trent Pierce
CEO
Prior to joining HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth as chief executive officer in April 2010, Trent served as chief executive officer of our Beaumont, Texas, hospital. With more than 19 years experience in healthcare consisting of both clinical and operational roles, Trent brings a solid understanding of overall hospital operations to Fort Worth. Prior to joining HealthSouth in Beaumont, he spent more than four years as vice president for Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Okla., a 175-bed acute care facility. With past leadership roles in rehab, long-term acute care hospitals and acute care, coupled with a clinical background in critical care nursing, Trent brings a unique understanding of internal hospital operations to HealthSouth Fort Worth.

Dr. Patrick Donovan
Medical Director
After completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, Dr. Donovan began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1992. Dr. Donovan became a medical director for HealthSouth Fort Worth Rehabilitation Hospital in 1995. As medical director, Dr. Donovan is responsible for the care and treatment of patients who have experienced multiple trauma, fractures, head injuries, strokes and other musculoskeletal types of injuries.

Patrice Oliver, RN, CRRN
Chief Nursing Officer
Patrice joined HealthSouth in 2011 and brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience from a variety of clinical settings and has more than 15 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience. Patrice is a 1989 graduate of Grambling State University in Grambling, La., and obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. She holds a professional certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and is the President of the Northeast Texas Chapter of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Prior to joining HealthSouth, Patrice worked for Continuum Rehabilitation Hospital in Flower Mound, Texas, as the nurse manager.

Natasha Woolery, PT
Director Of Therapy Operations
Natasha joined HealthSouth in December 2010. Prior to her role as directory of therapy operations at HealthSouth, she worked as a physical therapist at Parkland Health and Hospital System for more than six years and prior to that, as director of rehabilitation for Peoplefirstrehab, a division for Kindred Healthcare. Natasha graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in community health in 1996. She obtained her degree in physical therapy from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1998.

Pam Drake, RN BSN
Pam graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Prior to joining Healthsouth, she was the director of community and physician relations with P.R.I.D.E. Rehabilitation in Dallas for 16 years. Pam brings more than 25 years of healthcare marketing, sales and management experience to her role at Healthsouth. She is a member of the Texas Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, Case Management Society of America and the Healthcare Alliance of Texas.

Sherry Hapney
Controller
Sherry graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting. Sherry has served as chief financial officer at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 2006. Previously, she worked for the State of West Virginia at Bateman Hospital as chief financial officer and EEO counselor. 

Kathleen Boswell, RN, CPHQ
Kathleen joined HealthSouth in November 2010 and has more than 20 years of healthcare experience. A graduate of Baylor University, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including intensive care, organ transplantation, general medical-surgical, orthopedics and neurology/neurosurgery. Kathleen transferred into a role in case management more than 10 years ago. She holds a certification as a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and enjoys the interdisciplinary approach to patient management, attributing the interdisciplinary team approach to the successful outcome of rehabilitation clients.

Sara C. Robison, PharmD
In 2008, Sara joined HealthSouth Fort Worth as director of pharmacy. She received her undergraduate education from Angelo State University and in 2004, went on to achieve her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech University. She is an active member of the Texas Pharmacy Association, Tarrant County Pharmacy Association, The American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Honor Society. Sara has extensive experience in retail pharmacy as well as hospital pharmacy and pharmacy management. 

Niraj Mehta, D.O.

After completing his internship and internal medicine residency in Fort Worth in 2005, Dr. Mehta began practice as an internal medicine physician. At the same time he began his affiliation with HealthSouth Fort Worth as an internal medicine consultant. In 2009, Dr. Mehta became the internal medicine stroke program director for HealthSouth and continues to serve as a consulting physician in addition to his program director duties. Dr. Mehta is also an attending physician and the program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth.


Teresa Dorton, RHIA
Teresa received her bachelor's degree in medical record administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla., in 1991. She holds a professional certification as a registered health information administrator. Teresa previously worked for HealthSouth as director of support services for six years and returned in 2010 as the director of quality/risk management for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth. Teresa's focus is to ensure patients are surrounded with comfort, served with professionalism and treated with respect.

Tara Kleas, PHR
Tara joined HealthSouth in 2007. She received her master's degree in healthcare human resources and a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Southwest Texas State University.  She also holds a professional in human resources certification which she received in 2006.  Tara serves as a resource to all employees and enjoys recruiting new talent to HealthSouth.

Robert Brown
Director of Plant Operations
Robert brings more than 40 years of healthcare experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth.  He began his career at  Cook Children's Hospital, where he served for 25 years and worked his way through air conditioning, refrigeration and heating school.  In 1989, Robert was hired by HealthSouth to help open HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Forth Worth, formerly Cook Children's Hospital.  In his role at HealthSouth Fort Worth, Robert oversees maintenance, housekeeping and security for the hospital and is a member of Texas Association of Hospital Engineers.
